Live Jam Presents a Night of Music with Meaning: “A Concert for Altadena” Takes Center Stage on Friday Night Lights

At Live Jam, we believe music matters most when it’s lived in real time. Every track we play is a live performance — raw, unfiltered, and filled with the energy that only a stage can deliver. That philosophy drives everything we do, from our daily rotation to our signature Friday Night Lights Radio Show. And tonight, we’re bringing our listeners something truly special: a full live concert experience with a purpose far beyond the music itself.

Beginning at 9 PM EST, Friday Night Lights Radio Show presents an exclusive Live Release played in its entirety
A Concert for Altadena: Dawes & Friends — Live from Pasadena Civic Auditorium (January 7, 2026).

This is more than a benefit concert. It’s a gathering of voices, stories, and songs united by community resilience, artistic generosity, and the healing power of live performance.

A Community’s Story, Told Through Music

One year ago, tragedy struck the foothill community of Altadena, California. On January 7, 2025, the devastating Eaton Fire swept through the region, leaving homes lost, businesses shuttered, and families displaced. Recovery has been ongoing — slow, difficult, and deeply personal for those affected.

Rather than letting the anniversary of loss pass quietly, musicians, neighbors, and supporters came together to create something powerful: a night of music dedicated to rebuilding hope.

On January 7, 2026, the historic Pasadena Civic Auditorium became the stage for A Concert for Altadena, a once-in-a-lifetime live event designed to raise critical recovery funds and honor the strength of a community determined to rise again.

An All-Star Lineup with Heart

Anchored by Dawes & Friends, the evening assembled an extraordinary roster of artists, each bringing their voice, their audience, and their commitment to the cause. The lineup reads like a festival bill crafted for both intimacy and impact:

Eric Krasno
Aloe Blacc
Lord Huron
Brandon Flowers of The Killers
Judith Hill
Rufus Wainwright
Jenny Lewis
Mandy Moore
Brad Paisley
Stephen Stills
Lucius
Ozomatli
Everclear

Guiding the night as host was acclaimed actor and musician John C. Reilly, adding warmth, humor, and humanity between performances.

Every song performed live. Every collaboration unique. Every moment charged with shared purpose.

Where the Funds Go

All proceeds from A Concert for Altadena benefit the Pasadena Community Foundation’s Eaton Fire Relief & Recovery Fund, with targeted support directed to the Altadena Builds Back Foundation — an organization dedicated specifically to helping residents and businesses rebuild after the fire.

Viewers and supporters can still contribute or bid on charity auction items here:

Every donation goes directly toward restoring homes, livelihoods, and futures.

Live Jam: Where Live Music Lives

At Live Jam, we don’t just play songs — we preserve moments. A live performance captures something a studio never can: breath between lyrics, applause between verses, emotion hanging in the air. That’s why Live Jam exists. That’s why Friday Night Lights has become a destination for listeners who crave authenticity over algorithms.

Tonight’s broadcast of A Concert for Altadena is exactly what Live Jam was built for — real artists, real performances, real meaning.
