IPSWICH — The Trustees are recommending that you “ditch the winter blues with Firelight Nights” with a series of winter concerts to be held on Castle Hill in February.
But dress warmly. You won’t be allowed inside the Great House.
The concerts will be held in the courtyard in front of the house. Adult tickets include onsite parking, entertainment, s’mores fixings, and one drink ticket. Additional drinks may be purchased onsite.
The 1634 Meadery and Mill River Winery will serve hot cocktails and mulled wine.

The event is entirely outdoors, and the Great House will not be open.
Bands will perform in a warming tent, which guests are welcome to visit. Guests may bring their own snacks or supper — but not beverages. Ages 21 and older only.
Band schedule:
- Friday, February 10: Psychedelic Relics (classic rock)
- Saturday, February 11: Catnip Junkies (New Orleans jazz)
- Friday, February 17: Soul City (soul and Motown)
- Saturday, February 18: PanNeubean Steel (Calypso)
There are two shows each night. Tickets are available for 5 to 6:30 p.m. or 7 to 8:30 pm.
Tickets for Trustees members are $40. The price for non-members is $50. Advance reservations are recommended and can be made through www.thetrustees.org.
