Peter Frampton At Royal Albert Hall

September 16 @ 9:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Release Date: September 1, 2023

Label: UMe

The man who single-handedly created a surge of double live albums to be released in the ’70s with Frampton Comes Alive! does what he does best once again on Peter Frampton At Royal Albert Hall.

In a joyous return to the stage, guitar legend Peter Frampton graced London’s historic Royal Albert Hall in November 2022, delivering a spellbinding sold-out show that left fans in awe. The memorable evening was recorded and captured on video for posterity, resulting in a live album that captures the essence of Frampton’s 50+ year career. Accompanied by his trusty band of Rob Arthur, Adam Lester, Dan Wojciechowski, and Steve Mackey, the album delivers nine electrifying live performances including his timeless hits “Baby, I Love Your Way,” “Do You Feel Like We Do?,” and the iconic “Show Me the Way.”

The visual experience of that exceptional night is also available for fans to enjoy, with the unique performance streaming on PBS as part of their Pledge Drive, showcasing Frampton’s enduring appeal. And as his Never Say Never Tour charges forward, the artist continues to entertain audiences on the road, with performances scheduled throughout the year.

In the midst of this prolific phase of his career, and in addition to this live release, Frampton has lent his guitar talents to Dolly Parton for her rendition of the Beatles’ “Let It Be” from her upcoming Rockstar album. The track features an amazing lineup including Paul McCartney, who lends his voice, plus Ringo Starr and Mick Fleetwood, forming an illustrious group of legendary musicians which demonstrates Frampton’s esteemed place in it all. Further showcasing his enduring impact, Intervention Records is set to release Frampton@50, a limited-edition vinyl box set that encompasses Frampton’s early studio albums from 1972 to 1975 – Wind Of ChangeFrampton’s Camel, and Frampton.

Peter Frampton stands tall as one of rock history’s most lauded artists and guitarists. His accomplishments include a Grammy win for Best Pop Instrumental Album for Fingerprints in 2007, induction into the Musicians Hall of Fame in 2014, and recognition with the prestigious Les Paul Innovation Award from NAMM’s TEC Awards in 2019. His 2020 album All Blues dominated the Billboard Blues Chart for fifteen weeks, and in 2021, the release of Frampton Forgets The Words was met with widespread critical acclaim. Not to mention Frampton Comes Alive! (it deserves to be mentioned twice), which retains its status as one of the best-selling live records of all time, with over 17 million copies sold worldwide. The accolades continue for Frampton, as he is slated to receive The Myositis Association’s Heroes in the Fight 2023 Patient Ambassador Award during their annual ceremony in September.
