The headliner schedule for Musikfest 2023 is filling up as the annual outdoor music festival announced country star Walker Hayes is coming to Bethlehem.
Hayes will perform Aug. 7 as part of the festival’s 40th anniversary.
ArtsQuests members can buy tickets this morning (Jan. 17) at 8 a.m., and public ticket sales will begin 10 a.m. Friday (Jan. 20) at musikfest.org.
It won’t be Hayes’ first visit to the Lehigh Valley. He held a free concert in August 2017 at SteelStacks as part of the Levitt Pavilion Summer Concert Series.
Four years later Hayes scored his first No. 1 country song in 2021 with “Fancy Like” and he’s now getting ready for his “Duck Buck” arena headlining tour this year. Stops include an April 27 stop at the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park.

Musikfest 2023 is slated for Aug. 4–13. The 2022 festival broke attendance records, with 1,240,000 visitors heading to Bethlehem.
