Lisa Morales: Singer-songwriter Lisa Morales will perform at 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 20 at Dosey Doe The Big Barn. Tickets start at $20.
Morales, a Mexican-American vocalist, sings in English and Spanish and her new album She Ought to Be King was released last May. She previously performed with her sister, Roberta, as Sisters Morales, before Roberta died from cancer in 2021.

Car show: Local car enthusiast group Showplace Classics presents Fire ‘em Up: A Classic Car Show at Rudy’s near Tomball starting at 9 a.m. on Jan. 21. Admission is free for spectators, entry in the show is $25.
Awards for 13 classes of cars and trucks will be announced at 2 p.m., and the event features music, barbecue, a raffle and all proceeds benefit the 100 Club of Houston.
