Arlo Parks has announced her second album.
The follow-up to her 2021 Mercury Prize-winning debut ‘Collapsed In Sunbeams’ is called ‘My Soft Machine’ and will arrive on May 26 via Transgressive Records.
Head below to view the record’s cover art and the 12-song tracklist, which features a collaboration with Phoebe Bridgers on Pegasus. Parks has also unveiled the lead single from the LP, Weightless, a progressive, groove-based R&B track with light vocals over a synth-based production by Paul Epworth.
Alongside the news, Parks has lined up tour dates across the UK and Europe for September, including shows at London’s Eventim Apollo and Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on February 3. She’ll also play a Spotlight Show during The Great Escape Festival weekend in May.
