Today, The Trey Anastasio Trio announced they’ll perform at the Mission Ballroom in Denver on July 9, 10 and 11. The trio set to celebrate in Denver will be comprised of the group’s namesake Trey Anastasio his Phish bandmate Jon Fishman and his Trey Anastasio Band collaborator Dezron Douglas.
The three collaborated together back in 2021 during a performance with Trey Anastasio Band when COVID-19 when members were out, and Fishman subbed in. Also, in 2021, sadly, Tony Markellis, the bassist for Trey Anastasio Trio, passed on April 29 – Trey Anastasio Band’s Douglas will fill his role during the performances in Denver. Fishman will play drums which were handled by Russ Lawton in past years.
